Integrate a custom document into Alfa's analysis

You can upload custom documentation directly to your profile for Alfa to reference. Adding a custom document enables Alfa to perform a more personalized and holistic analysis, integrating information that is not publicly available into your reports.

Upload a custom document to your profile

To upload a custom document, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Account at the bottom of your screen and select the Settings menu item
  2. Navigate to the My Documents tab
  3. Drag and drop your file into the upload bar, or browse available files

Understand the status of your custom document upload

Uploading a custom document to your Boosted.ai profile takes time, as Boosted Insights must process the information in the document.

When you upload a document, the first status you see is the Processing status. This means that Alfa is still processing the information in the document.

Once Alfa finishes analyzing your custom document, it will move to the Available status. This means the document has been successfully uploaded and the information is available for analysis.

If a document cannot be processed, an error state will occur. In this case, make sure to check the format of your document (must be a PDF, DOC, DOCX, HTML or TXT) and size (must be less than 100MB).

Privacy surrounding your uploaded custom documents

We understand that privacy surrounding custom document uploads is vital to our users. Your uploaded documents are only visible within your team and are never shared with any other Boosted.ai client, or with our internal team. They are also not used to train our models.

Note: The internal Boosted.ai support team may gain access to an uploaded document only if there is a support ticket raised by a client that requires it.
